Financial Friday: Is the Dollar in Danger?

August 21, 2009

In today's program, Morten Lykke Pedersen from Jyske Markets joins us to discuss the US dollar and what its weak status can tell us about the US debt burden, the equities markets and how private investors might be able to take advantage of the undervalued dollar.  We talk about whether the dollar's status as a worldwide reserve currency is in danger and whether the US governments decision to keeping pumping currency into the world markets could lead to the next meldown in the US economy.

On our In Focus segment, we look at three stocks currently on Jyske Bank's equity reccomendations list, including Pfizer, Boeing and windmill producer Vestas, who surprised investors this week by maintaining its forecast for the remainder of 2009.
