CEO Anders Dam: Q1-result is heading in the right direction

For the first quarter of 2015, Jyske Bank realised apre-tax profit of DKK 502m. Anders Dam, CEO and Managing Director, calls it 'results heading in the right direction'.

Anders Dam notes that the continuing falling interest rates are a challenge to traditional banking business.
Among other things, the falling interest rates have the effect that again this quarter Jyske Bank is affected by negative value adjustment due to interest-rate swap transactions with clients.
