Financial statements: Jyske Bank's focus on home loans is successful

February 23, 2016

Jyske Bank generated a record profit of DKK 3.2bn for 2015, increases its share buy-back programme and holds the horses in respect of increasing prices of home loans.

Anders Dam, CEO and Managing Director of the Jyske Bank Group, is satisfied with the financial year 2015 where the Group's focus on home loans was fruitful: "Throughout 2015, Jyske Bank was able to benefit from its focus on home loans in a generally tight banking market with low demand. Thus, at the end of 2015, new home loans had been granted in the amount of DKK 57.5bn, which means an increase of DKK 25.5bn in 2015. Today new home loans have been granted in the amount of DKK 60bn," says Anders Dam.

Jyske Bank announces that the Group raises its share buy-back programme by DKK 250m to DKK 750m from the previously announced amount of DKK 500.

In today's issue of Jyllands-Posten, Anders Dam states that Jyske Bank will call clients' attention to the possibility of avoiding price increases announced by Totalkredit by switching to Jyske Bank and BRFkredit.
